“Wish I lived closer so I could keep returning!!!”
What a find!! This is an amazing pub in Knowle ( near Budleigh Salterton) which serves probably the best food I have ever had in a pub! Not having had great experience with finding good restaurants in this part of Devon, we went along with few expectations, but my goodness, how wrong we were. Steaks are sumptuous and cooked to perfection. The Thai seafood curry was light and delicious. So good was it that we went back..........a real hidden gem in rural Devon. Pity it's so far from Edinburgh...........

Had two FABULOUS meals here this week!
Fresh, flavoursome food (none frozen) and friendly, helpful staff. This is a real gem in rural east Devon. Great food, generous portions, and reasonably priced. Can't rave about it enough!!!

We had an excellent carvery meal here yesterday.
